Official: Panthers to wear Black Jersey for SBL

Meh 0-1 in SB history with the whites may as well try out the blacks. I know we don't have a choice but the superstitious side of me is thinking it might be good to wear a different color than the 03 loss.

There seems to be a discrepancy on that because technically the all blacks aren't an "alternate jersey" but rather an alternate uniform. I know they've already announced black and silver - so it's a moot point - but I'd still like to know if the all black was an option.

The NFL sure makes it ambiguous. I get what you're saying and it just might be the pants that can be manipulated rather than the actual jersey for it be considered as an alternate.

I'm very certain the Super Bowl requires a standard uniform, which probably disqualifies the black pants outright.

But who knows...don't really give a fug regardless.
