The Whole State of Washington Hates Us

Story time!

In recent years, when the Super Bowl is set, all the stores around here (Dicks, Sports Authority, Just Sports, etc) have conference championship gear available a couple of days after the Superbowl is set. So today, rather than ordering online and having to wait until post Super Bowl to receive my CONFERENCE championship stuff, I figured I'd grab some out here. First stop, Dicks - who had it all the previous 2 years first since Seattle made it. Nothing. I ask if they will get any at all and they say "Nope". Same goes for Sports Authority because "Seattle isn't in it".

Then comes Just Sports, which ALWAYS has had the early releases of this stuff over the past 10 years. I walk up to the store to see Broncos AFC Championship stuff and get excited. Until all I see is Orange. Not one Panther thing. So I ask the guy working if they have any or will get any and he literally said "No, we aren't carrying any Carolina Panthers stuff".

First off, I'm pissed. The one time I can get my team apparel out here with the word "Champion" on it, and they won't carry it because we swept them. But then I realize just how sad and salty and pathetic this fan base is (even though I already knew to begin with how bad they are). So time to order online, I guess and wait for three weeks to finally wear it.

So before ending my search, I decided to swing by the Seahawks Pro Shop (which was packed the day before they played the Panthers - literally). Here is what it looked like:

TL:DR:

NOT ONE STORE CARRIES PANTHERS NFC CHAMPION THINGS BUT THEY HAVE BRONCOS AFC CHAMPIONS. SEATTLE IS SALTY AF AND THEIR FANS HAVE FLOODED THE STREETS WITH THEIR TEARS AND ARE CONSIDERING HOPING ON OUR BANDWAGON.

FYI - Seahawks Super Bowl 50 shirts will be on the 99% off rack after the big game. I'm going to buy several to wash the mud off my truck.

looks like there is going to be a lot of Seahawk fans in the Philippines this year.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
