Mike Shula is in full control of the offense

He had done a great job really.

Then, when it really counted, he and Ron decided what was REALLY needed wasn't what Cam could provide them, but the good ol' TOP battle they love so dearly!

You do know we won the dearly treasured and beloved Time Of Possession Super Bowl Championship tonight, don't you?  And isn't that what's really important?

When it was all on the line, Shula took it out of Cams hands and Rivera allowed it. Rivera allowing it is the biggest shock to me after all the change Rivera himself had made this year.

The players lost this game without a doubt. If you are watching this game it is obvious.

The players on offense played VERY poorly.

The fact that the Denver defense knew everything that was coming pretty much every damn play didn't help them.

So is no coach culpable when we lose because of their unit? I guess we should retain everyone forever then and keep drafting and hiring more all pros

He is culpable for not calling great plays. The players are more culpable for playing like sh*t. It is very hard to turn sh*t into a diamond.

We were in position to score multiple times if we didn't throw away downs. Again, where are the short passing plays to counter the pressure Denver was bringing? Exactly, there was none, except for a 3rd down crossing patter to Cotchery.

He should have called more slants. Our receivers shouldn't have dropped eight passes. That's eight lost downs.

We could have overcome our mistakes. Shula was too incompetent to do so.

Please give your magic gameplan. Can we throw? Not really. Our receivers dropped everything, and Cam had no time to throw. How about run? Well, we have no room, the option didn't work, and our backs fumbled twice.

I'll give you two substantial things we could have done to change the game.

1) Gano makes the field goal. That's a three point gain.
2) Teddy Williams tackles the returner. The Broncos had no offense outside the first drive. They would not have scored. That's a three point loss.

That means, with five minutes left, we are tied 13-13 instead of down 16-10. That's not even factoring in the red zone issues. This was a team loss.

Those runs up the middle constantly were downright embarrassing.

you know how you to yourself "how did this man even get this far" sometimes, and it's largely just hyperbole.

i actually wondered how somebody with such a small and limited football IQ could make it this far

obvious his last name is the answer to that question, like how could you be so dense. it's baffling. i literally cannot find the words to describe what i watched tonight

How about a fuging play that isn't 50 yards down the field? Why didn't we call short passes to help Cam out? Why is this the third time I'm asking you?

idk how you blame shula, wr's drop numerous balls that would have got us within the 10 yard line, not to mention tolbert giving the ball to the broncos....panthers did exactly what they need to to lose, implode

You blame Shula because you are mad we lost and want a scapegoat. Really that simple.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
