Lets be honest our O-Line was never that good

I heard Greg Cosell say the other week we use more max protection than any other team in the league. If our O-line was really that good, why would we need to sacrifice a receiving option every other play to help the line pass protect?

Oh and those false starts have to stop

I think our oline is solid...played better this year than I expected...our WR core for the most part cost us the game...there were moments when Newton had time and for the most part the WRs either dropped or tipped the ball into the air for an INT.

We have got to get weapons on the outside. We cannot keep depending on the right arm of Cam Newton. There is ZERO YAC in this offense. Therefore, the offense requires Newton to continually make plays and then hope the WR don't fumble or otherwise blow it.

Newton also could have played better this game. Philly Brown, once again getting injured in the playoffs didn't help either.

Denver has fast rushers..  Simply out matched by them our tackles aren't athletic enough. We faced several top defenses but Denver was number 1 with that speed. Our O line was good enough for 17 games... It will only get better from here.

By our O-line you mean using 7 blockers, while only having 3 receiving options

Remmers is really the only weak link on the line. That was exposed by Vic Beasley and I'm surprised the other playoff teams didn't use that blueprint. I knew Miller was going to be a nightmare for him, but we didn't adjust to help him out. Just decided to run up the middle.

    • Oh please with the wallowing in victimhood I'm going to take my ball and go home routine. You were just in here referring to people as super weird haters because they don't completely agree with your borderline delusional spin on what Bryce Young is and isn't as a fourth year starter. We can hope by some miracle that Bryce Young will actually be able to lead a formidable passing offense this season without being irrational homers and pretending verfiable data and what we have seen with our own two eyes doesn't tell us exactly what he has been to this point which is someone who moves the ball at a historically low rate.
    • I am curious who's behind all of this though. A video and photos from years ago surfacing? Someone has a vendetta and is driving this PR campaign. I'm loving it, but I'd also like to know who said mystery figure is.
    • I say positive things about Bryce when he earns them. Which he has a handful of times. It is all here and on the record but your lobby won’t focus on that or the flat out truth inside of our critical comments.  It is a constant thing with him and his backers - one or two good things and people are trying to extrapolate that to proof we should commit to him, while ignoring or making excuses for the larger portion of his track record.  When he is able to consistently turn in franchise QB extension worthy outings the tone of the posts will reflect that.  I have already said that if he would play like he did in the WC as often as we need him to, I would be okay with keeping him.  See you don’t want to talk about that though because it shows actual fair minded evaluation not stanning.
