Hate to say it but.......

Unfortunately the biggest play of the game was the catch that was called incomplete.  Completely changed the momentum of the game and actually directly led to 7 points for the ponies after Cam fumbled.  I hate that the NFL officials had such a big hand in the outcome.  That being said we still could have won this game,  Remmers was garbage, the special teams did nothing good the entire night.  Shula went back to being bad Shula.  How many runs up the middle on first down do we want to run for no gain that puts us in 2nd and long?  He actually did it to start the last meaningful drive of the game with about 4 minutes left.  We should have gone full no huddle in the 4th quarter and wore their defense out.  They wouldn't have had time to catch their breath.  Oh yeah, back to the &*#$ you NFL officials.  I can't think nothing but the worse when a play that obvious gets called wrong.  Show me where that ball hit the ground for a second.  Post the pic.  Go ahead.  It doesn't exist.  That play really defined our night and got the ball rolling for the Donkies.  Still a fan and will be for life. Keep pounding fellows.

fug the refs. Catch had 3 big drops

I understand what your saying, but you cant say that missed call that led to a net -7 points didnt have an impact.   Yes there were many variables, but that one imho was too much to overcome.  Our players did have a role in this outcome.  Absolutely.  Like I said, we still could have won, it just became a hell of a lot more difficult once the refs gave them that kind of momentum.  We will never know, but I would have liked to see the refs have no influence whatsoever on the outcome.  The did though.  Nobody can deny that.  We may have gone down and scored 3 or 7 points, instead cam fumbles and they score.  Huge missed call by the refs, that is simply unexplainable.

The plays took way too long to develop.  With this fast defense they should have adjusted for quicker routes and passes to the safety valve.  Cam had time in the pocket all year and we were use to it...tonight they were just so fast we couldn't hold that defense back.

The refs didn't cause this loss.

Rivera and Shula not being prepared for this game caused this loss.

I didn't say that they did.  However, nobody can deny that that blown call had huge implications on the game.  We could have still won had the offense not been complete garbage and shula didnt go back to being bad shula.  Run up the middle, Run up the middle.  I wanted to scream.   There was just so much wrong with that game.

The ENTIRE team lost. We got our asses absolutely kicked. Cam looked like a dazed piñata.  Running game was vapid. Wrs looked like they were 40 yrs old.

The D came to play and that was it. Awful fumbles that killed momentum.

We got beat left and right.

Biggest play of the game was fumble sack TD for Denver at the beginning. Put us down double digits early, and stunned us. After that they pinned back and rushed those edge rushers the rest of the game because Shula went back to the old Shula. No designed runs for Cam, no screens to help soften those rushers keeping them on their toes.

True but it would have not happened had the refs not screwed us on the no catch.  We were pinned back because they called that incomplete.  So the blown call led directly to the defensive td that they scored.  Just saying.

    • Same, bro.  Yeah, it just feels it has run its course and I don’t know that we’ll ever get more value.  Plus, with the new ownership, this draft has been super encouraging, so dare I believe maybe this FO can get something to really put us over the top in return for Melo.  I’ll still be a fan of his game and try to keep up with him if we move on, but yeah, I feel it’s time to turn the page. (and side note: I felt so happy after their rookie years because I told everybody I wanted Melo and didn’t trust Ant.  And Melo clearly looked like the better player early…  I thought Ant would bust because all that stuff he said about not loving the game and just his resume to that point…  but damn, if we could go back in time.🤣🤣🤣. I love Ant’s game and at times, when he gets in the zone, he is THE BEST player in the league in my opinion.)
    • Appreciate that, bro!  And I could definitely see that with Cam.  Even though he’s a little younger than me, he is also someone I admire and feel a kinship with for a lot of various reasons. Funny enough, a few years after that encounter with Steve, I went to Charlotte with one of my friends whose brothers owned a moving company at the time.  He dropped me off uptown and went to work the day with them where I would wait until he got done and then we were gonna go to the Bobcats game that night.  So I walk all through that area for hours.  After awhile, I walk back towards the arena and sit in a bench on the backside of the arena, where the practice court and player’s entrance was.  As I’m sitting there, I look up and almost think I’m seeing things - I squint and blink my eyes a couple times just to be sure, and yes…  it’s one of my childhood heroes, Muggsy Bogues walking across the crosswalk and into the arena.  I think he was coaching the Sting then, iirc.  Part of me wanted to just say, “Hey!  Muggsy!  Thank you for the inspiration and memories!  You were one of my favorite players as a kid!”  But, I just watched him walk by and into the arena and thought, “that was cool!”  I also so Miguel Cotto a couple years back while in Orlando and told my kids who it was but didn’t say anything to him.  I think somewhere in my subconscious, that encounter with Steve really made me feel like the gamble on finding out if they’re receptive to interaction just isn’t worth finding out.  At the end of the day, no matter if they’re receptive inspired us or were a hero, unless they initiate it, I likely never will…  because again, they’re humans just like us.  Not anymore unique or special, they just have a highly visible and very public job that we get to watch and in some ways participate.  So, I just appreciate it for what it is.
    • I'm pleasantly surprised they gave it to Bryce Young over Josh Allen. Finally we're getting some respect. Now I'm just hoping the team follows this up accordingly and doesn't lay another egg.
