I'm pretty surprised Nate Chandler survived the cut list.

Who says we are done? I don't think he is going to be cut since he is a valuable backup at a reasonable price, but there may be more moves on the way today.

Who's to say they're done cutting ?!?!

He could be kept around as camp competition and might not make the roster.  Especially if Daryl Williams becomes the starter and Remmers moves to backup, and if we draft or sign any OTs.

Historically Gettleman gets all the cuts done at the same time and early in the morning. I would be fairly shocked if anyone else is cut today or before March 9, but we will see.

also wouldn't be shocked to see Tolbert locked up today.

Something is coming down the pipe....I don't know it is but I have a feeling it is something substantial.  Not saying it will be a splash signing but something different is coming.

Not necessarily, we do have a few contracts we need to sure up long term, Edwards getting cut isnt surprising and Johnson getting cut has been speculated on since like week 10 of last season.  these are all predicable moves based on salary cap and last years performance

At this point, I think veteran leadership is a little overrated. Given we made it to the Superbowl, all our young players got valuable experience that they can share with and mentor the next generation of young Panthers. Guys like Kony, Short, Shaq, Funch, Philly, CAP, Boston are now the veterans of this team.

Definitely agree that the Super Bowl experience is HUGE for our young guys.  Just think, KK & Star have been in the playoffs every season since they were drafted, going deeper each year....  SWEET.

Not sure I'd call Shaq, Funch or CAP "veterans" with only a few starts among them!

I was thinking more along the lines that if he were to be cut then Gettleman may not have had time to meet with him yet to let him know. Like say CJ and Dwan were told to come in in the morning and Chandler after lunch for "the talk."
