Take one of the DE's

If all 3 are still available, trade down about 5 spots, pick up another pick and still get one of the DE's

I like the trading down in that situation but i made all three of them an option because, i see only one of them being available by that point

Ogbah to me just looks like a guy who would be (in a normal DL draft) a top 13 pick. I think Lawson is a good player but has minimal upside. I think Dodd could also be a good player but also could hair be a flash in the pan.

I agree that Ogbah is a freak, and if it came down to him or Doctson id be very happy either way..

One of the DEs for obvious reasons.  CJ is just a 1 year deal, Kony's contract will be up in 2017 I think (?), and as FA shows...you're not getting a good DE for cheap. If you like a DE in the draft, you take him. After that, I might go Decker and roll into training camp with Oher/Remmers/Williams/Decker at OT...not too shabby.

Would love to have Doctson, but WRs are a helluva lot easier to find than DEs or OTs.

Everyone seems to think we're fine at receiver, on paper we might, but we don't know how KB will be once he starts playing again, Funchess still has a lot to learn and is very inconsistent, Brown is just a #3 or #4 guy, Ginn has too many drops, but still solid, Hill & Norwood haven't played a snap, and Byrd is still unknown.

With that being said, the only receiver I would take in the 1st would be Doctson.  Other than him, I would take a DE, Ogbah right now.  Not a fan of Lawson at all.

Ogbah, Dodd, Doctson in that order.  Lawson isn't worth a 1st round pick in our system, in my opinion.  Definitely wouldn't take Apple or Alexander in the 1st.  And no more 1st round LBs please, unless there is NO value anywhere else and I don't see that happening.+

what do you guys think about trading up in the second round like we did last year?

I sincerely hope we do.  If we get Ogbah or Dodd in the 1st I want to trade up in the 2nd for Sterling Shepard or Hunter Henry (or obviously Doctson if he somehow fell that far).  I don't think any of those three will be available at our 2nd round pick.  And I don't see much value at CB at the bottom of the 2nd either.  Maybe at that point I'd be willing to accept taking Apple or Alexander, but even then I'd be hesitant.  Maybe Fuller if he fell that far due to injury concerns.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
