Steve Reed reports Kemo likely won't play

As for Vincent, I think it's one of those injuries where it will be a game time decision depending on how Vincent is feeling. If he can get a good push off then he will play, if not Bridges and Hangman will playing.

As for Kemo, this same story came out two days ago. This is more of Reed putting his own spin on it, assuming that Kemo will not play.

Also, I would not put it pass any NFL coach or player to play mind games. How many times have we heard such and such player probably won't be able to play on Sunday and then they play or such and such player is ready to go and then they don't play.

I will wait until Sunday around 7pm before I start to worry about Kemo and Vincent not playing.

When we first saw the final 53, one of the concerns I expressed was that we didn't have a true "nose guard" type outside of Kemo. With the changes we've made in defensive line technique this season, that'll present definite challenges to the scheme.

What worries me there is that "scheming" isn't exactly Trgovac's strong suit.

Did anyone else see when Kemo got hurt, Charles Johnson came in and played the DT position? Thats how he got his sack on Cutler..he was on the same side as Peppers. Im confident if they do that type of pass rush loading up the left side we should be fine especially with Eli needing more time for his receivers to get open. As for the running..we'll put that in the hands of our LBs and Chris Harris ;) . I think we'll be fine.

    • I've actually been very complimentary of him.  I have said that I think he will get the bulk of receptions and yards. I have said I think he will be a 1k yard reciever thia year. He has issues tho and I guess no one is allowed to point them out.
    • We don't have to lie, 4.8 was official and there were scouts who had him in the 4.54 to 4.57 range
    • Think the "official time" put out was 4.48, but there were a lot of scouts there who of course all had difference times as it's all handed timed by them.  Think I saw it as low as 4.43 and as high as 4.62 or something, but in the end it's all basically the same speed because 40 yard dash is so pointless. Anyone who complains about his speed is just someone who wants a Chase/Jefferson/Nabers style #1 as opposed to an Evans style #1 who isn't going to beat you because of his speed but his other abilities. In the end, he's fast enough for a player his size and surprisingly quicker and more agile than people give him credit for too. The real problem is that Panthers fans can't get our past big WR failures out of their head, they hear "big WR" and automatically see a plodding KB or Jarrett in their minds and assume that's also T-Mac.
