Why didn't anyone tell me about this band?  The one thing I've found as I've grown older is that I don't keep up with new music like I used to.  I've only watched a few of their video's on youtube right now and man what an awesome band.  Vocalist is awesome and the music is fantastic.

If you listen to any type of rock radio, you should've heard of them a long time ago.

Don't listen to radio at all.  Honestly 99% of the stuff I was hearing on the radio I thought was god awful...but that's how I end up missing great bands.

Been listening to these guys for about 5 years now. They'll be playing the Carolina Rebellion on May 7.

And you do have to look for music like this because terrestrial radio generally sucks balls and rarely plays anything like this and satellite radio has one channel which may occasionally play something like this.

Their version of "Bad Company" came out in 2010, but was already 5 years after the band's first release. Most people haven't heard of their first couple albums, which are pretty decent despite the lack of quality production. But a much more raw sound is what you get with less production and I appreciate that aspect of the music (like comparing Master of Puppets production quality to the Black Metallica album production sound).

Brought to you by your resident 60-year old heavy metal fan....

Five Finger Death Punch is very okay. There is no way you've ever listened to any kind of modern rock radio and not heard them before, they're half of what they play on a regular basis. The only song of theirs I really like is The Bleeding.

Yeah but I don't listen to the radio anymore.  Like I said in a previous post I find much of modern rock to be boring and stale.  And I'm not really even saying this band is great or anything but this song is great in my book.  I've listened to a few of their other songs and while I think they are good they don't hit me like this one in particular.

    • I liked him more last offseason. I'd like to see the churn with our cornerback room and see what comes out the other side. Lots of youth and potential, we just need one or two to hit.  I don't want CSW to move to FS and think he's a solid enough NB as long as he's not depended on for 40 snaps a game. Thornton, Will Lee and Evans should net us at least one boundary corner and at least one dime guy if we deploy that.
    • The Canes are hoping to have Nikishin back on the ice tonight.  Will be a game-time decision.
