Super Bowl loss stil sting for others?

Absolutely. Losing is always bad. Then the way we lost and all the crap after the game just made it all worse. I had not heard from some fans of other teams all season and as soon as we lost that game, they were everywhere.

The sting's faded and doesn't hurt anymore. What helped ease the pain was remembering what my expectations were for the season in September. We had made the playoffs in '13, and then for the first time ever, made the playoffs in consecutive seasons in '14, taking another step by actually winning a playoff game. So I expected another playoff run in '15, and expected to make it to the NFC championship game and lose. The fact that we made it to the Superb Owl exceeded my September expectations, so I couldn't stay mad for long

I thought the  feelings would have passed over by now. I have tried to tell myself and others that I'm getting over it, but I hate seeing or hearing anything Broncos/Von Miller related and every time they are brought up it stings

I got this paper cut on my finger, and I poured pickle juice on it. Now that stings. I hate when that happens.

Besides the fact that I am almost reminded of it everyday somewhere, or knowing that our offense way underperformed due to turnovers and other self inflicted wounds I guess I'm almost over it.

Agreed. I've watched the 2003 game a couple of times, but I'll never watch this one again. It's a shame too as there were some very good performances (Corey Brown, Kony Ealy, Luke), but the ugly wayyyy outweighs the good.

Yup, winning this one would have taken some of the sting out of '03. This one stung even more because we were clearly the best team in the NFL this year, but we didn't play our best when it mattered most.

It is funny to read about some of you are so hurt we lost.  I was there and spent thousands of dollars to be there. I had to endure the train ride back to Oakland where we stayed with hundreds of Broncos fans as we were outnumbered 10-1 everywhere we went including the game.  I wore my panther gear the next day and folks came up to give me condolences.  And yet I have put the game behind me as I look forward to the year.  After all there were 30 other teams that would have given their left nut to be us and we did have the best season ever even if it didnt end as we planned.  Will I watch it again?  Hell no, I said I was over it, I didnt say I wanted to relive it. I think we will be better this year even if it is unlikely that we will go 15-1 again.  I think we will be in the playoffs and if we make it to Houston I will have to figure out how in the hell I will get there as well. And win or lose I will root for the Panthers and be proud of them no matter what. Going to the super bowl will make all our players better for the experience and hungry to get back. Instead of pissed off and depressed I am glad we went and glad I was there because it marks us as a contender and prepares us for the next time we get there with hopefully a better outcome.

Yeah I'm fairly cool when we lose and we just weren't the better team. But when the team beats itself, that hurts. A lot. However, I've moved on to this upcoming year. Our future is the brightest of any team in the league and I'm excited. Thinking about the last game stings for sure but I just try not to think much about it. It's in the past.

I really think that being there at the game was better than watching it on TV in terms of dealing with the awfulness. Never saw it on TV, probably never will see it on TV - well, you know what?

When we win one I'll feel better about watching this one.

Client asked me when I was going to change google pic.  (It was taken at training camp in 2010.)  Im wearing my blue 34 jersey.  I said I wasn't planning on it, thinking he thought it should be more professional.

It def still stings for me.  I was fortunate enough to go, and had an amazing time, but I came home with broken heart.
