For argument sakes, if we were to trade Norman, what do we get in return?  I remember someone mentioning two first rounders, but that seems a bit unlikely.  Trading Norman to Tennessee does make the most sense.

Distraction for not participating in OTAs?? I would be more upset if it was 1 and 2 years players not participating. Gettleman won't overpay long term for any player. He might for a year as a stopgap, but he's gonna eventually replace every player on this roster. Norman had a great year, but he isn't worth 13 million in a long term deal.

Not at all. His goal is a huge multi-year contract from performing great this year. This is extremely standard for franchise tagged players to do to in an attempt to avoid injury, shold a freak accident occur. Not at all would mean he gets nothing.  If he signs the tender and gets hurt at the facilities he's covered for the entire contract.

Or he's holding out hope for a long term contract before training camp and doesn't want to risk getting injured before then since he hasn't signed his tender yet.
