Would a Tennessee Titans RB > Fozzy/CAP/Wegher

People can fool themselves all they want, but the acquisition of Murray and the drafting of Henry is an indictment of last year's group.  Mularkey doesn't believe he had an every down type of back apparently (and he is no stranger to the run), but I suppose any one of the group could surprise. I just wouldn't count on them being better than what we already have.

Yeah, Cobb was the only one that I would have interest in, but I think he is the one that remains there.  Sankey is looking more and more like he is the odd one out and I don't think he offers much if any upgrade to CAP.

Please explain how any one of them are more talented.

Artis-Payne, in his few opportunities, averaged 4.1 ypc and a 45-1 carries-per-TD ratio in 2015.

Whitaker in his few opportunities averaged 4.3 ypc and a 25-1 carries-to-TD ration.

Cobb?  2.8, 52-1

Sankey? 3.6, 47-1

Andrews? 3.6. 48-1

I ain't seeing the greater talent.

Were they more talented in college?  I dunno, but CAP was the SEC's leading rusher in 2014.  Most yards in the toughest college conference in the land.  Hard to show more "talent" than that.  (Looking at Cobb's college stats they are comparable.  But better?  Nah.)

Fozzy had averaged 2.8 ypc for the Browns in 11 games before he came here. System and OL matters a ton for RBs. Talent is my opinion based on what I've seen from watching them play.

According to PFF, Tennessee had the 28th ranked run blocking grade for its OL and Carolina's OL was ranked 6th in run blocking.

Saneky is garbage. At this rate they have no choice but to draft a rb stud high in next years draft.

They just traded for DeMarco Murray and drafted Derrick Henry in the 2nd round. I don't think they will drafting another RB high next year.

When I said they I was talking about the panthers. I should've been clearer.

    • Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.
    • I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you. But don’t talk poo about us. Because it make you look like Haula.    “need to get as far away as possible”. fug off. Didn’t see Burnsy bad mouthing and his play dropped off too.    sorry, but Orlov doesn’t get a pass from me. See you twice a year…
    • I don't really care about your post at all. I just saw the direction of the discussion and this snippet from an article I read earlier in the day was a good spot to put non-Panthers info. I mostly don't care about the players personal lives. That's off the field/personal poo. Not really any of my business.  I also don't know him personally so what would be the point of congratulating him outside basically attempting to draw attention to myself like so many in the social media/internet realm.
