Peanut talks Panthers...glowingly

Recommended Posts

I believe the team has moved on, unless their is a rash of CBs injuries midseason. Peanut is not currently healthy and will not be for some time.

I do wish he'd reach the new CBs the famous peanut punch, pretty please!

I've been assured by several people right here on this very forum that players HATE Dave Gettleman.

So this couldn't possibly be true.  :P

Saw that and went "bummer!"  BUT, If Peanut comes back, I imagine Sanchez will gladly change numbers just for the experience to sit at the guy's feet and be on the same team with him!  There were some changes to rookie jersey numbers last year in preseason I believe...

Knowing what I know of Tillman, I bet it would be he who would have no problem wearing a different number.

So there's no chance Tillman could be ready by the beginning of the season?  I saw that workout video of his and he looks to be moving great.

Not a chance.

Maybe after week 8 or 10 or so....maybe.

He is an older athlete, and that means more time to heal, not to mention as a CB you need extreme lateral movement.

I love Peanut. It's tough to believe he only played with Carolina one year. Just seemed like he belonged. Like he was part of the culture. I hope there is someway he can stay involved. Our connah's could use someone like him who is not a savvy vet, but someone who wants to be there and is invested in the organization. Just a very cool dude.

Guy is awesome, hope we can get him to coach for us but I see him going to the Bears for that if he does....

Him and Thomas Davis are two of the nfls good guys.... Real role models...

Think you're right about the Bears being his preferred post playing career team if he doesn't go into the media which he'd be phenomenal at. Heard him on the radio last week and he said he kept his house and family in Chicago and that's where he's rehabbing right now.
