No panthers player you can name is more great of a panther than smith.

smith is the greatest panther of all time

I think Cam just past him.  Hard to argue against the MVP and what he is doing historically...and his unique road.

Pathetic

Frankly, I've always valued your posts and your opinions.

If you can't handle MY opinion, I'm sure you can find the 'block' button somewhere around here.  But I ain't makin' poo up here for a "hot take" you know... it IS my honest opinion.

I think one day he'll come back and # 89 will be retired. Kasay got a little salty after his release, but eventually all was forgotten and # 4 was retired.

Steve went a lot further than Kasay on his way out, but he was also a much greater player for this team so he'll eventually be forgiven.

Uhh, am I supposed to think less of him because he considered switching teams after 13 years and didn't? Because...

you can think whatever you want, i'm not trying to convince anyone of anything.  i already said the guy is my favorite panther of all time.

that was a direct response to something that i felt was implied in the post i responded to.  i felt like the impression that steve was stalwart about staying here and didn't flinch even when the panthers were pathetic was trying to be made.  which, knowing that guy's posting history here especially re: the 89 issue, isn't a stretch.  i don't blame him for wanting to leave one bit, actually.  these dudes are in this business for a short amount of time and loyalty to any particular team is a luxury which is why you won't find me shittalking josh norman's decision to sign elsewhere.

and i edited this post because i originally wrote a dickish unproductive shitpost and wanted to replace it with something worth reading

Kasay number is not officially retired. Only Mills.

    • I agree.  I don’t think I have ever been accused of being a Howell fan. No more than fan of some other random QB.   But I watched and I saw. He has some talent. Maybe I didn’t watch close enough to see his weaknesses.
    • He is a pit bull when it comes to that.  And after he missed out last year on Williams, it seems he is trying a different approach, looks like. Don’t hold back. No half measures, because someone will come and full measure your ass. Close the deal. He left a little opening for The Patriots last year.  He closed so far this year. Of what we know about.
    • They have been doing the mercenary one year RB now for a little while. Foreman..  It works pretty well. You can find ball carriers. The passing game trips a lot of those guys up. Pass blocking, route running, they have a lot to know.    Rico wasn’t a great pass blocker but he got in the way most of the time. He is a really good pass catcher.     He’s tough. Needs to find out why he was cramping late in the games. If he can fix that maybe can step up even more. Wish him luck. I think he’ll do well.    If Brooks can be something, what a bonus that would be at this point.  I really believe they went for him because of his extra layer with being a good receiver. And we need more of that with what we are working with trying to move the ball.
