Greg Hardy's Agent Sent Letter To All 32 Teams Addressing His Behavior

Good enough for me, sign him (at the right price). Look at every championship caliber team and you'll find one or two extremely talented players with questionable character. You have to be willing to deal with those guys to win the ultimate prize.

If he came back, and I mean IF, he would have to make himself the face of domestic violence prevention and do tons of community work to promote womens issues.  On top of that, no more of the rap bullshit and just going on random rants.  All of that said, the odds of that happening are about as high as Donald Trump being declared the president of Mexico.

Okay so we know he would be cheap. How low can DG go?

Then is it worth it to bring him back, and all the negative coverage. Even if he has a pro bowl season and does all the dv programs and community work, can't see DG doing it. Probably didn't even read the letter himself.

Jerry fuging Jones doesn't want Hardy back.  The Cowboys. With needs at DE. All the problem players they've had over the years and they said "naaaaa, we're good". Jerry. fuging. Jones. Won't. Touch. Him.

Hardy is to blame to nobody wanting him...whether he deserves a shot at redemption in some eyes or not. Not a single NFL owner/GM is currently wanting to touch him. If he would've just shut up and played last year, he probably is on a team right now. But no, he kept running his mouth, even about Brady's wife of all things while always saying he did nothing wrong, pissed off the media, teammates, coaches, etc. That's a Kraken problem...nobody else's. If he had the mental capabilities or maturity of an actual adult, he'd be on a team. He doesn't. He's not.

We had him for five years.  After the incident, kangaroo court, playing in week 1, and subsequently being screwed by the league as it buckled to public pressure in ways that still make my blood boil something fierce, here's our Coach of the Year, saying he wanted him back on the football field for our Carolina Panthers.  http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/ron-rivera-thinks-greg-hardy-should-be-able-to-play-for-panthers-now-200422588.html

five years, RR, TD, CJ, countless others>Jerrah

Pretty embarrassing that we have a ton of rookie camp stuff to discuss yet a hardy thread is the most popular.

As I have said forever now, there is no path to coming back to play for the Panthers. It won't happen. This is not speculation. Move on.

No one commented in the thread until Randolf and yourself today..No disrespect as this is your website but I do believe people can multi-task and comment in more than one thread..I posted this on Friday..it was a leading story then for football..

Since I didn't see it posted, I consider it my civic duty.  You're welcome for not starting a new topic on the matter.  For those that don't click, it's Damien in the flesh-reading, signing autographs, and taking pictures with 5th graders after being invited by a church member.

John Wayne Gacy was a clown for charitable events and children's parties.

    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
    • Ok LT and Petersen are a cut above everyone else to me cmc and Faulk are interchangeable on this list.  though Faulk was better career wise
