Special recognition to our fallen Panther brotheren. Jason Benjamin Josaphat (19 years old). Rest in Peace.

Josaphat lived in Orlando and had recently graduated from Southern Technical Institute's business office specialist program in Pinellas Park, Florida. Martin Levert, the college's executive director, called Josaphat 'an exceptional student.'

His uncle Christopher Long described his as a computer-savvy and said that he loved to work out.

'He was very excited about his journey,' Long told the Orlando Sentinel. 'He mentioned to me that he wanted to start taking pictures, he had a passion for photography. He was just real special.'

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Josaphat called his mother from Pulse nightclub to tell her there was someone was shooting. She begged him to hide in a bathroom stall, and called 911.

On Monday morning, his family learned that the 19-year-old was among the dead.

Josaphat's old friend, Messiah McMillian, told ABC15 that he graduated from Skyline High School in Mesa in 2014.

'Whenever somebody was in a bad mood or if you saw anyone down, he would always be that one friend helping to put everyone up,' McMillian said.

Too many good people lost in this tragedy. I hope one day we will see past our differences and understand we are all at war with radical Islam.

We are at war with intolerance. Still.

And Hillary Clinton wants to allow thousands of Syrian refugees in this country without screen.

I got a better idea.  Why not just give U.S. Passports to know ISIS members.   That should quicken up her agenda.

the guy's dad immigrated to the country legally 30 years ago

the afghan mujahideen (whom he supported) were being funded and armed by ronald reagan's CIA at the time as part of a proxy war with the soviet union so it's not like he would have been considered some kind of threat to the US then

the vast majority of mass shooting perps are US citizens

just stop

Gonna tell me 9-11 was Americans?  How about Boston?  And Countless others.   Don't preach out the wrong orifice.

When you spend your life defending this country to see politicians scrapping for votes over the safety of Americans.  I WILL NOT STOP.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
