He seem pretty atheletic, I want to see his strength and technique in run blocking during tranining camp.

Exactly. Hopefully change means someone who is a reasonably good run blocker.

So many of us here who were following the draft were interested in Hunter Henry and willing to invest a 1st round pick at tight end in order to have an upgrade at the position, better backup behind Greg, and the possibility of 2 TE sets.

Incredible #Gettlemagic that we may have gotten all this with the 2nd to last pick of the draft in round 7....  Can't wait to see how Sandland does when the pads go on and the competition ramps up.

It's incredible to think that the #1 scoring offense in the league from last season is only improving.   Everyone but Cotchery returning.

Cam in his prime and still with something big to prove...

KB coming back; Devin Funchess flashing big time; the potential of Sandland; the potential of Hill...  the rookie RBs improving, the Oline stable and solid.

About the only question mark is whether Stew will be able to stay healthy and who will be his primary backup.

Obviously the success of a season it's not only about talent.  Witness the 1986 Bears...

There are all sorts of intangibles:  schedule, injuries, the locker room chemistry.  But seriously, chances look very good for another stellar year on offense.

Quick detour:

Ahem! Isn't Dickson a locker room and coach favorite...?

That's why I am not buying the Fozzy over Wegher thing. I seriously doubt that G-man, or even Rivera for that matter, are going to forego the obvious at the expense of talent because they like a dude. They are serious about upgrading the talent on the offensive side of the ball, so out with the old and in with the new.

Back on topic:

Sandland  has the juice, and it appears he has the smarts to make a quick transition to the dismay and detriment of Dickson. Dickson's days are numbered. It's only a matter of months.
