Is he practice squad eligible?  Now, I am in no way saying add him to the 53.  But, if he is practice squad eligible, and could learn from Skipper for a year, he may be a good backup next year.

I was under the impression that rules for practice squad eligibility had been changed for this season to allow an individual with more than 2 accrued seasons, but was not sure of the specifics.  It was brought up in the discussions of Bersin still being practice squad eligible due to the rule changes.

I do apologize for feeding the trolls, however always want to be optimistic about this training staff and their abilities to mold players.  We currently do not have a backup to Stewart with the same body style (bruising back) and is a position I would like to see us fill.  Tolbert somewhat fits that role, but not completely.
