The number one prerequisite for this team is being accountable. Gaining that much weight and failing a drug test is just foreshadowing for how unreliable he will be.

This FO hasn't brought any players in with off the field issues.

wasn't one of Gmans quotes something like......"we don't sign knuckleheads"

Seeing as how he currently looks like a D.T and has a substance abuse problem im going to go with a big fat NO. Some of you should know the answer before you even ask the question

With that said i hope he pulls it together. He had to of been a MAJOR headache for a team to release such a promising young player on a dirt cheap contract.

Buffalo has already said that his release was performance based, and I don't have any reason to believe they'd lie about it. You can't show your skill if you're not in optimal shape and on the bench.

They have good depth with the rookie Jonathan Williams, Boom Herron and Mike Gillislee in particular (who averaged 5.7 ypc in the final five games last year).

VERY few players were effective as "large" RBs

Jerome Bettis

Christian Okoye

Jim Brown

this kid is none of those legends

His playing weight last year was around 230 pounds. That's good size, but not extraordinary.

He had a great rookie season but could some of those numbers be inflated because of the system and blocking that buffalo had?

The Bills were blocking for every other RB on that squad also, and they arguably didn't put up as impressive numbers when you average things out. Good blocking is the expectation of most teams.

If he's too screwd up for Rex Ryan, he's too screwed up for us.

It was the GM/owners.  Rex was in support of Williams relatively recently.  Their depth at the position was probably the determining factor to ax him.

First shocking preseason cut: Buffalo Bills planning to release RB Karlos Williams, per league source.

Sold!! If he's out of shape, he'll need a few weeks anyway. With the suspension, you don't have to pay him much for that time anyway. Sorry CAP.
