Can't be mad at Josh. He chose the money. Hell I would too lol. He just needs to live with that decision and stop complaining to us just cause he wanted us to pay him like Washington did. That's my only real issue.

Don't mind Jno left. He got what he was worth. I got no ill will towards him. BUT to be fair it's not like he was tearing it up for 4-5 years and didn't get sponsorship opportunities. He had 1/2 year and then followed up with an amazing year and left. No business would have wanted him to sponsor their product after 1/2 year of good football playing on the Carolina Panthers. Maybe this offseason he could have found some but he can't blame sponsorships on Panthers IMO.

Didn't we let Josh match up one on one with OBJ for the vast majority of that poo-show Giants game media frenzy?
Didn't he get all sorts of interviews and segments about his Batman persona and "Theives Ave"?

Gross was constantly complaining about the amount of work it took him to keep his weight on during his "This is Gross" podcast.
He probably hated being asked to take a pay-cut, but Gman literally didn't have a choice at that point with how badly our cap was screwed up at like 20 mil over, mostly due to dead money.
He certainly backed that point up about his weight.  Looks like it all shed naturally immediately following his departure.

actually reading the article he may have some points.....essentially this is one of the reasons smith was release apparently...

 

I just don't get the distraction ploy thing.....we just lost to a team filled with distractions.

Norman's franchise tag was rescinded by the Carolina Panthers this past offseason, and he then signed a five-year, $75 million deal with Washington in April. He told The Magazine that he felt constrained in Carolina, that he was asked to cut down on his trash talk but wouldn't because "I'm not a fake."

He said the team's conservative nature made him expendable.

"They kind of shunned me," he said. "They turned down a lot of stuff for me, interviews, sponsorship deals, stuff I didn't even know about. They wanted it to be about the two main guys, Cam [Newton] and Luke [Kuechly]."

In Washington, he said he thinks he can "grow."

How dare the Panthers make this about a franchise one of a kind QB and a franchise once in a lifetime MLB! I means they aren't the face of the franchise right?  They aren't the unquestioned leaders of their respective units!?
