I think Scifres would already be gone but he had to meet the specialist.  I'm betting he gets waived injured and ends up on IR. Cox will probably make it to the 75 and then too be sent directly to IR.  Im iffy on Mucus, he may make it to the 75.  I think Wallace the Aussie Rules guy is gone, he just came in too late.

Who is that safety or LB dude that is having a hard time healing?

Yeah I was kind of shocked Deaver went in the first round. Maybe courtesy thinking he can catch on somewhere else. We SEEM to me to have a really good TE room as far as catching, they all just need to work on blocking aside from Wallace. He could really benefit from heading down to IMG or something like that for a season and readapting to the game and trying again next year.

I've been wondering about Leonard Johnson on the NFI list.  Does he count against our roster limit, and does he get treated like a PUP list player if not activated prior to the regular season, i.e. getting signed to the regular season PUP and then being eligible for activation 6 weeks later?

    • One thing I didn’t consider is how thin this draft is at quarterback. That’s going to drive up the market for backups and borderline starters like Willis, Jones, and Jameis Winston. Because of that, we’ll most likely be priced out of the market for this tier of backup.
    • We've already beat the #1 seed twice, why not one more? (Packers and Rams were both #1 seed at the time we played)
    • My determination has come down to this. Based on recent QB history, has Bryce's improvement warranted 50m per season? Lamar is the only original team QB to play on his 5th year. The others took major deals at the end of the 3rd, before or just after the option was signed. Chances are, we're getting asked for the same.  I haven't rooted for Bryce to fail. I've rooted for him to succeed so big that them signing that extension would give me no worries about our future at QB at all. We haven't seen that level of play consistently that this year. We haven't seen it in the past 6 games.  We're about to be at a threshold with Bryce and I worry about what this front office will do. We have a history of bad decision making and Morgan has been part of that group making those decisions. I don't want Carolina in the same boat Arizona and Miami are right now. It has nothing to with being right. It has to do with wanting to win for more than a single season. We've never had back to back winning seasons. Faith in their abilities is not warranted at this point.
