And we thought our fan base was harsh on Cam. Yeesh

Jay gets way too much unwarranted hate.

Hes like the Nickelback of the NFL.Sure, they suck but there are so many worse bands out there. Also Chicago has been fielding consistently terrible rosters during his time there. That doesnt help.

Cutler isn't even that bad.

He's just average, which is a mortal sin as a QB. It's forgivable to be bad because you can be replaced. But if you're mediocre you stay around long enough to piss everyone off when you screw up and give them false hope when you succeed.

Cot damn this is deep.

That's actually very well said.  Well done.

The original problem was how high he was drafted. Now it's how much the Bears gave up in trade for him.

It's okay to be mediocre if people have low expectations. When people are looking for big returns and don't get them... issues.

Yo, I never thought about it like this but yea, as a fan, having a QB like that would suck.

    • I'd give Bryce until the trade deadline to prove he's the answer and if he's not I'm dumping him for whatever pick we can get and I'm riding with Dalton the rest of the way.  2 and a half years is enough time to determine if he can be the QB going forward so for Bryce he needs to come out over the next couple of weeks and show that. The other players in the locker room don't wanna waste another year of their careers waiting to see if you'll ever figure it out.  If you took a poll of the players in the locker room I'm sure they'd rather lose with a respected veteran Dalton who at least gives them some creditability versus losing with Bryce who the entire media will say was let down by his supporting cast when in reality it's Bryce's physical limitations that are holding this team back.
    • I agree that he should’ve never been the pick at 1. In my 44 years I’ve never seen a team invest that much in a QB who is my size. I’m not meant for the NFL and neither is he.    Accepting we can’t change the past, I think it’s the correct call to keep playing him hoping that he will prove us wrong. I think we were dumb not to draft a QB this past year and let him learn and compete but that’s our reality.    I’m hoping this is the last year with the BY experiment and he deliverers us 1. To the playoffs or 2. The number one pick and we draft a real QB.
    • In his first interview after the surgery he sounded absolutely miserable.  Man that must beat you down to have that done
