All seriousness, I'm just excited for the season. We are stacked on offense, something I would never have imagined last season. Our defensive line is stout, and Ealy is looking to be a real good DE. Our linebackers are the GOAT. We are stacked everywhere, even with questions in the secondary. Our rookie corners don't look half bad, and our safeties still are fantastic ball hawkers. Our WRs are stacked, and the kind of mismatches and plays our offense is capable of doing is insane. God, I'm excited.

 

*Sorry bout the Hardy reference before. Honest to goodness probably one of the hilarious parts of the forums at how he's still so coveted. My joke went poorly though after review. Just pretend that never happened.

Not gonna be funny if (when?) Kony or CJ miss time or when we get burned by a legit QB later in the season in crunch time because our DE's are gassed.

But it is going to be funny when, in spite of all your incessant naysaying, we have yet another great year. We are currently enjoying the greatest level of success in Panther history. (Well...most of us anywho.) Maybe you could, you knnow, join the rest of us, and just enjoy the success. Instead of nitpicking every precieved flaw. Whether they be real, or just in your imgination.

Bwahahaha!!  Incessant naysaying??  I've said, INCESSANTLY, Cam is the GOAT, the Panthers are the best team in football, this is the start of the greatest dynasty of the salary cap era, and that the Panthers will still win the Super Bowl, this year.

The Panthers do however have a chink in the armor at DE, and have been screwed as a part of the most hypocritical insanity in major American sports history.  I want to be the greatest team of all time, and show no mercy as a major wrong is righted.

      So... what metrics for production do you believe display these issues/limitations best? Are we only using total passing yards, height, and weight thresholds? If so, then what are those thresholds?

      I mean as far as his size goes it's all over his tape bouncing up and down on his toes in and around the pocket trying to see the field and defenses know this as well as we do but if folks here want to live in never never land and pretend it's not a thing that's their prerogative. Even our head coach has made it a key focal point to get his footwork under control. But it's still something Bryce is going to be tested on early and often no matter how many keystrokes anyone here commits to the narrative it isn't an issue.

      It speaks volumes that when asked to define a clear performance threshold the responses instead fixate on Bryce's size. It reinforces what’s been clear for a while now... that for some, it has never been nor will it ever be about production. Any struggles will always be chalked up to his frame, and any strong play will be downplayed or disqualified via highly mobile goalposts.
