Which Player Will Have The Most Impact Tonight?

So, since kickoff is mere hours away, I thought it'd be fun to predict who'd have the most impact on Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. Here's my predictions, and feel free to add anyone you think will do good as well!

Offense: RB J-Stew

The fact it's game 1 and Stewart is healthy is real appealing. Notice how we had nearly no run-game once Stewart was injured. His powerful and tough runs help bring forward the chains. Adding a healthy J-Stew adds a whole new dimension to our offense we couldn't have the whole superbowl. I believe he'll make known the missing presence of Malik and Trevathan on the Broncos D.

Defense: DE Kony Ealy

I just like this kid. He's been improving steadily and carefully. I think he'll have a big game against the Broncos, and take advantage of Okung. He's shown his flashes in the Superbowl, being the probably Superbowl MVP had the Panthers won, and I wouldn't be surprised to see such a performance again. He'll be key to racking up a possible 2 sacks that game, and stopping Siemian from making plays. I just feel he's the most poised to make an impact.

Special Teams: P Andy Lee

Seriously, I was probably the most hyped up about a punter last week's preseason. I honestly hoped the Panthers would just go 3 and out on every drive just to see him punt. I saw something I've rarely seen at punter lately, and that's a good punt. Not one of those punts that goes 80 yards down the field while your coverage is only halfway there, but the kind that goes up high in the air and lands beautifully in an area thats decently deep, but your coverage is all over them. I believe he will he key for our defense in order to have a breakout D performance. Broncos have a punting issue from what I hear. We are set. Field position was against us last game, this year, we should have the clear advantage.

Lee for MVP.

Going to go with that 2015 draft class

Offense:  Funchess-  taking his play to the next level and playing with a chip on his shoulder.  Should have less attention with KB out there.

Defense: Shaq-  think this is going to be his coming out party.  Now that the game has slowed down for him playing beside those other 2 guys.  His versatility is going to be bad news for a Brand new QB who has never thrown a pass.  Would not be shocked to see him end up with a sack and a int

I'll give my predictions:

Offense - Devin Funchess is going to have 6 catches, 100+ yards and a touchdown.

Defense - Kawann Short wants an extension and is going to tear through the line. Two sacks and a forced fumble.

Final: 23-10, Panthers win.

    • Dude you're all over the place. Bryce definitely played better than average down the stretch last year. That's what I said. I dont think it's controversial, and I think it's true based both on stats and by actually watching him play. He was the 6th rated passer by PFF during the last 8 weeks. In no world is that below average You trying to twist this into something else is a you thing.  Have a great night
    • Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best.  And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
