With the ego of Cam Newton it's really easy to hit. Until he thinks he not the best thing since sliced bread, (which tbh I have no idea what that means) this will happen all season.

Ego is the biggest downfall of all.

So people with big egos deserved brain damage from head shots?

Interesting.

When does this start happening for the rest of the NFLs big egos?

Josh Norman.

Odell Beckham.

Antonio Brown.

etc.

When do they get their NFL-approved brain damage?

Start DA from the get go and we would've won this game. Quit with your blind knob slobbing.

Can we please start banning posters like the above? Saying idiotic things like DA would have won this game when a hobbled Jones just got 300 yards on our "elite" defense.

I thought the Panthers could match up well against the Bucs. Now I am worried.

If the coaches do not attack with the offense from the start of games, and believe their secondary is good enough to win, then it will be a long season. Only hope is to let Cam loose and go for 30+ points from the start and blitz the LBs to pressure the QB.

Rivera thinks this secondary is good enough. They are just going to get worse as we get deeper into the season.

Worst secondary in Panthers history.

That's not what I'm talking about. I'm taking about coasting in for a 2 point conversion, or celebrating a first down. Do you realyy think defenses care about you, or what you think you have done? It's time for Cam to see the world doesnt revolve around him. And that other players want to win as much as him.

    • Rags lost again. All is right in the hockey world.
    • He’s responsible for two drafts classes. The first was one of the worst drafts I’ve ever seem. The second one is showing a ton of promise. I’m somewhere between skeptical and hopeful on Morgan.
    • I'm a big fan of Dan. His ability to find productive players deep in the draft will pay off.  I'm going to give him 1.5 draft classes right now, because I do think it's a little unfair to evaluate his first year when he got the job in January, especially when we went into that draft not having a first round pick.  XL and Brooks are still big time TBD players. Both still have incredibly high ceilings, but both have also given us legitimate reasons to have a lot of pause. Trevin Wallace, Chau Smith Wade and Jatavion Sanders have IMO outplayed their draft position early in their careers. That's a great thing. He also got Coker and Demani Richardson as UDFAs that year. Given the situation we were in, I really don't mind the gamble on the high ceiling guys. Still may work out, still may not, but if you made a checklist of ideal situation for an NFL GM to walk into, ours was near the bottom of that list.  Every single 2025 pick is contributing in some way. That typically doesn't happen. I am absolutely blown away by this draft class 6 games in. Even the best GM's miss on occasion, and we can't expect Dan to be 100% on drafts moving forward. Ryan Fitzgerald was an excellent find as well.  Comparing our last two drafts to the previous few is pretty shocking. Can you imagine this season without our Rookies? It would not be good. Additionally, this roster only has 6 players with more than 6 years of experience, and two of those are specialist.  The next step is equally important, and still very much TBD. We have to avoid Cap Chaos.
