When folks around the league are just using the same gameplan over and over and you refuse to adjust, it's time to make a change.

Wade Phillips didn't figure out Cam he figured out Shula. It's why the Game plan works without Newton. It's why NE can win without Brady yet we can't win without everything going right. Scheme over team and honestly that's coaching 101.

Sad but true. Give any compentent coach Cam, Olsen and KB and every game would be a mismatch

For years we said oh Shula just doesn't have talent. Well now he does and he still socks. This team doesn't win without MVP Cam and that only takes you so far.

Nah just keep the same game plan, don't pick up FA, draft the same position 3 times, use your first rounder on a established strength and your good.

Maybe not unstoppable but damn good. It's pretty amazing Cam got the MVP with as little he had to work with.

Lol okay I got ahead of myself but we would be damn good. I want an OC who will evolve his game. His legs are only going to carry us so far, but he has an arm. Shula is game planning for 2nd/3rd year Cam and not 6th year MVP.

Shulas game plan hasn't changed in 4 years. The sad truth is I knew this day would come. When Cam can't overcome a poor scheme. Let's not forget it was the Falcons not the Broncos that figured out Shula. Hell they knew you have to get to Newton because he is the Hart. After that the scheme will not hold up. Shula expects Da to do the same thing and it's why it fails. The only way it could get better this year would be to get a pro bowl LT and RT. That's where DG failed if he wanted to win because Shula is not changing.

Nothing's going to be done about our obvious issues with coaching, the team will go on a late season win streak after the games don't matter and everything will stay the same.

Part of this falls on Rivera, though. He should be in Shula's ear constantly to try something, anything, that could possibly work. Sure, they might be friends, but Rivera knows that betting on the sinking USS Shula is also going to take down the Riverboat.
