The players understood Ron didn't give a poo when they (especially TD and Olsen) were passionate in defense of Cam's health and their Head Coach was "it is what it is".

nobody was passionate about cam. no one on this team did anything all game when denver had free shots at him. olsen is a great speaker and he is dead on most of the time, but olsen giving a thoughtful locker room press talk doesn't do poo for cam on the field. i don't even know what TD said, assuming it's along the lines of what Olsen has said, again it is lost in the rest of the media speak.

saying some nice things at a press conference doesn't get this team anywhere on the field. i'm sure ron knows that no matter what he says, the refs will let the hits go on cam and the shield will stay at mid-field. if anyone on this team wants to make a difference for cam, the have to do it on the field when he goes down and they have to make it count. someone should tally up all the questionable hits cam has taken this season and then tally up all the times there was a stir on the field from our team. i can count on one finger the number of times this season our players have reacted at all to cam being hit (1 time). Trai and KB yelling at the refs after the concussion hit was the only time anyone did poo.

if these players can't do poo for their proclaimed leader, MVP, close friend, etc. on the field, what exactly do you think ron is supposed to stand up and say. it's embarrassing that his teammates haven't done more for him in form of quality blocking or if that fails, getting in someone's face about it and maybe taking a play to make a point to the opposing defense. additionally, our defense doesn't respond with hits on anyone in any form.

Wtf would he say if he wasn't allowed to say missed opportunities. He wants us all to buy that convenient excuse. It prevents anyone from accepting any responsibility, including himself. We're not stupid Coach Rivera. We all see what's going on. These are mistakes being made and not missed opportunities. Many times mistakes from an undisciplined football team that ur in charge of. We are not letting you and the team off that easy. You were given a fairly talented roster that went to the super bowl and have coached/led them to a pathetic 1-4 record.
