A legitimate reason as to why we will make a run

By run I do not mean 10-0... I could see 9-1, or 8-2 and i'll explain. Everyone is overly frustrated with the struggling secondary, but the answer is on our roster. Bradberry came out week 1, and took a beating by Thomas. That said it was his first start ever against a very talented WR, but Bradberry still looked the part. He came out week 2 and played great, the only TD he 'gave up' was the deep ball where Tre was late coming over the top. (He was the number 1 rated CB for week 2) If we have him against Atlanta (we still lose) but Julio does not go off for 300 yards. The big play to Mike Evans the next game I don't feel happens with him on the field, and I also feel the bomb to Cooks this week doesn't happen. I feel with Bradberry healthy and on the field after the bye week he will shore up a lot of the issues you see going on. He will not be perfect, but with our offense finally finding its groove (Mainly due to Stewart being back) I feel it will be enough to limit the big plays and finally start racking off some W's. I know we lost but it was nice to see the offense finally click. This team is used to going on runs, we have done it 3 years in a row now I see no reason as to why we can't find ourselves 5-5 or 6-5 at some point this season.

I agree that we do need a game changer at the RB position, Stewart can only last so long. To me Fozzy and CAP are NOT the answers to the backfield once Stew hangs it up or wears out.

I can't look at the worst secondary along with one of the worst pass rushes in football and think they are going to all of sudden flip the switch.  The entire defense is on skates.  The offense, with Cam playing well, might be good enough to win some games against the teams with both a bad D and bad O, but looking at the remaining schedule they are few and far between.  If they go 5-5 down the stretch that would be really solid for this team, but not in terms of draft position though.

I agree man, Bradberry can help cover half of the field and if you have Teddy on the other side his speed will help him recover if he bites on double move. Also the offense is on a roll and if we play similar to Dallas style O the secondary will not be exposed as much! KEEP POUNDING!!!

i like bradberry he has talent and potential we need him back but this is a learning year for him as well . the difference between whorley , sanchez and bradberry is bradberry has the potential , whorley and sanchez will be out of the nfl in a couple years they straight suck. we need to make another move if we are going to attempt to save this season but we probably will sign a bum at most and thats not even guaranteed . i like what i have seen from teddy he has a similar mentality as norman just doesn't have the skill set but he does look like a decent corner for the most part.  mcclain has to go he is so bad as well .

Williams has the speed and size just needs more experience, far as McClain goes he is best suited to play nickel.

      Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.

      I think people aren’t patient enough with Young. It can take a few years for a QB to develop. Look at Darnold, Baker and most recently Daniel Jones.   he hasn’t been able to put up big passing numbers either cause of how much we run the ball. You can tell our coaching staff still hasn’t took the training wheels off Bryce and let him go all out. We’ve had some pretty bad receivers as well. We finally got a true number one last year and look how much Bryce improved. Still we didn’t really have any depth behind TMac. Coker was hurt for a lot of the year and XL was our #2. How many big plays or TDs has XL dropped? I think this year can be the year we see Bryce able to hit his stride. If not then we can start looking for another qb but I just ask people to be patient.
