that wouldn't be enough.

I mean, Shula can call the perfect play....but if Remmers can't hold up vs an elite front (or either OT) or the WRs struggle to get separation against a decent DB group (and they often struggle vs average groups), etc.....it just looks like a horrible playcall and people say Shula should be fired.

So we need virtually a perfect offensive game.  We need players to play above their standard level

We need the Cardinals to self-destruct.

I think we'll see a significant upgrade with Johnson and worley/Bradbury which will have a trickle down effect with our defensive line which will lead to more pressure

Going to be some interesting chess matches when we finally get healthy. If we can improve in coverage, it will defiantly help the pass rush. Teams are already max protecting their QBs, are they still going to max protect if we are covering the receivers longer?

If we can figure out how to get pressure against those max protects, teams will have to adjust again. If we can cover better, the pressure may start to come, forcing teams to adjust. Or do teams go back to spreading us out, and take their lumps against the pass rush?

Of course it all comes down to covering better, and getting more pressure on the QB.

You're spot on here.  I just don't think our pass rush is going to get any pressure against max protections.  Blitzes may help, though they haven't been very effective for us this year.  At the end of the day, the secondary will have to produce against 2 receiver sets before we see a change in game plans and protection by opposing teams.
