Didn't a poster already do that statistical analysis about the roughing calls and cam had the fewest?  I'm sure I remember that.  He only had what? 2 all of last year?

No because it's not true that he has the fewest since he came into the league.

Early in his career, Cam DID get calls. A lot of them. Them, something happened. He didn't get a single call all year long last year. Has he gotten one this year? I've seen plenty of flags picked up and a couple offset, but have we actually benefited from one yet?

Anyway, my point is, Cam called out Ed Hochuli for that "you're too young to get that call" comment in Week 3 of last year. Right around the time the spigot turned off. It's not a coincidence.

Sanders must have the memory of a bull frog. This was last season...you know when we were in the mist of going 15-1: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000540502/article/cam-hochuli-said-youre-not-old-enough-to-get-call

Cam Newton complains about the Refs ALL THE TIME. Especially when we win. The funny thing is I am sure Sanders and the NFL Newton spent untold hours covering the damn story.

I feel completely different about Deion since his stance on the Panthers. Particularly when he initially spoke on the Norman and OBJ situation. He basically spoke in favor of OBJ while opposing Norman. Then afterwards he came back and said that he had tried to reach out to Norman. He tried to interview Norman while acting like he was in his side but Norman wasn't having it. He continues to speak out in favor of OBJ after all of his antics but nor calls out Cam. Bump Deion!!!

    • I mean, if Moore really wants out, then it would behoove the Bears to make it happen sooner than later. X is a lot younger and cheaper, and may be a better fit for Johnson's musings than a disgruntled, unnecessary, overpaid vet. If they can dump his salary and maybe get a fourth or so in return, it may be worth it to them. As for development, I'm not concerned. You're talking about a seeming bust, a day three guy and a UDFA. They are developing relative to their ceilings. I doubt any of them will ever command the coverage, money, or the respect that Moore has acquired. He's a tier above them. Yes, even X.
    • IMO, if Ceedee plays against us, the game probably goes the other way. Same with Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins. Our team just isn't designed to beat teams with two high level receivers like that. But when you look at the league, how many teams really have two guys of that caliber?  There's nothing wrong with defensive adjustments, but sometimes I think a lot of fans want Evero to call a different play like a game on madden, and defensive football just isn't like that. That said, I thought we did a much better job this season against the Cowboys of flipping Jaycee and at least making them work for it, opposed to last season when they literally just lined CeeDee up on the other side of the field every single snap.  For us to just straight up switch to consistent man coverage, or a different zone, or whatever, we likely would consistently need different personnel on the field. Doing it a few times a game is a gamble and can work, but if we consistently run man coverage against the Cowboys, eventually a RB is going to beat a linebacker, or something of that nature with our personnel. Part of the reason Evero likes this scheme is that, while we have our defaults and presets, what we do is very multiple, and you can do a lot of different things pre and post snap. We are a challenging defense to read. But as you said, if guys are getting beat, it doesn't really matter what you call.
