Offense Doesn't Score In 2nd Half Again

Given the lack of talent on offense, what do you guys expect?

We sit up here and every year complain about how much our offense scores...

Yet come draft time or free agency this board wants to talk about how we can acquire another LB or DT or DE.

If you want to score like the Giants or Washington or Raiders or Green Bay...stop drafting like you are trying to build the 88 Bears...

Again, Roman was fired and Turner resigned, and both offenses improved a week later.

Where did the Vikes offense improve? Last week they didnt score at all in the 2nd half and lost. Struggled against the lions too

I wasn't able to find out exactly when we lost Kalil. When I checked the game log, I noticed there were only two drives in the 3rd quarter. I'm certain he was gone for the entire 4th quarter. There's a definite impact there but how much is unknown.

Personally, I have greater concerns that we may have to start looking for a future center.

I've mentioned it plenty of times, he'll be 32 the start of next season. Age is one thing, but aging with injuries can really shorten your 30+ career. Offseason focus should be on the offensive line

    • Nina King continues to run circles around the rest of college basketball. She's been ahead of the curve on everything, and is the biggest reason for Duke's success post-K IMO. I think Scheyer is great at many things, but Duke went into the NIL era 100% ready whereas everyone else was playing catchup.
    • Happy they won convincingly instead of letting them hang around. Montreal is cooked, and rather than play hockey, they've decided to take some really cheap shots at guys. I get a player may feel a need to set the tone, and I understand how that works. But to 2-hand cross check someone intentionally in the face, to have a guy down on the ice and put his head into the ice with a stick, to just start punching anyone who gets within arm's reach- that's not setting the tone. That is nothing short of playing dirty.  That said, the Canes.... oh boy. They could have run this score to 6-0 with half a power play. It's embarrassing how bad the PP is. If the Canes go to the Cup finals against a team who scores at least 1 goal per game on the PP, they'll lose the close games because of the lack of results on the PP.
    • Because he knows they are winning the cup. And I fully support his decision.
