Anyone go out and see this yet? Saw it this evening. Not my movie genre choice usually but it's probably one of the best "monster" movies I have seen. If nothing else, it's damn entertaining.

I guess you and I are of the few that liked it. Little too long but still an awesome movie.

If a Godzilla v King Kong movie is coming, I really hope the go back to a more original Godzilla.

I went to see it this past weekend.  I arrived 45 minutes early and they told me I would have to sit on the front row.  I turned around and left.  I'll try again this weekend if I have time.

Wtf? Why did you have to sit in the front row if you got there so early, was it that crowded?

Yeah I guess everyone got their tickets online.  It was a theater with assigned seating.

That's lame, before you know it scalpers are going to be scooping up the best seats like at concerts and sporting events.

The IMAX theater in Winston-Salem recently installed huge faux-leather electric reclining seats. It greatly reduced the number of seats in the theater, but damn if they aren't comfy as hell. But you better get there early if you want a good angle.

I seen that movie in the theater and the only thing I remember is it being the longest movie in my life.   I know it wasn't though.   I always watch Lord of the Rings extended and Return of the King is like 4.5 hours, but that Kong felt like an eternity.    I can't even remember if it was good or not lol.   I feel like I enjoyed it the first half and then it hit a weird place.  

I have heard the new one is pretty good though.

I thought the original was brilliant. Jack Black kinda was out of place but the movie itself was excellent. For being a 12 year old movie, the Special FX were pretty good.

Saw it and it was pretty solid...stay after the credits monster movie fans. It moved for me.
