Injuries have played a very underrated role, particularly Oher. We were already weak at OT and Oher going down really stressed that weakness.

The coaches have done a poor job of in-game adjustments which is shown in our poor second half performances. Unfortunately, this is nothing new. Our coaches do abgood job prepping for games but they seem completely incapable of adjusting on the fly.

Gettleman did a poor job of addressing the weaknesses on the roster.

Agreed. We are essentially, 3 plays away from a 7-3 record.

at Denver: Gano Field Goal

Buccaneers: D.A. pick in the endzone

Kansas City: Cam pick 6

i can't help but go back to the colts win last year; we really should've lost that game but we didn't. in fact, had the overtime rules still been the same as they were a few years ago before they were changed, we would've lost that game when they marched down the field and got their field goal first in overtime.

i'm not going to argue that the 2015 team wasn't better because they were; but they were also a lot luckier than we are now. last year we were also lucky against the saints in both games and the giants. unfortunately we don't have a perpetual horseshoe stuck up our ass like seattle has had since 2012.

WE HAD THE LEAD AFTER CAM THREW THE PICK 6. WE HAD THE DAMN BALL WITH LESS THAN A MINUTE TO GO.

Could be even better as well. First Aints game was winnable if not for a few plays like Gano's miss and their rookie kicker's 50+ yard winner. And Vikings game is probably a win if KB doesn't block in the back on that long Fozzy TD. That changed the whole game.

    • I don’t know man. His stock is down with me from his bad takes on the podcast trail and his home life. What he did to that. His kids.   He is in a sense no better than the men his mom shacked up with. She was probably no prize herself.   SOB is probably still my favorite Panther player when suited up.
    • Yeah we are scalded dogs. Or cats. We don’t go optimistic all that easy, for good reason.
    • That is a good point there. We are getting what a lot of us felt was the minimum reasonable expectation. That we play competitively and we get some meaningful games in December.  We may not be quite into being relevant in December but have a chance to be.     And I say reasonable expectations as the bar for the franchise on a yearly basis. Not specifically this year, but all years.
