Honest question, do the Panthers have an analytics department? IF not, we are way way behind the times.

4th and short with Cam and his short yardage history, + the best 4th quarter QB in Carr this season... absolutely no reason to punt. Brutal.

The Book says to punt in that situation.

Therefore, fugging Ron Rivera punted.

Are you not entertained?

I can't wait until we draft Jalen Hurts in a few years and we never have to read another terrible and desperate attempt from tiger to reallocate blame everywhere but where it is due as he hops on another bandwagon to pull for

he guess what nobody cares about that second rate, second place team you pull for in that amateur level of the sport.

Earlier in the year, i defended him.  Not because he is a good coach, but because great players make a difference in wins and losses, and Gettleman poo the bed with the secondary and OL in the offseason.

That being said, that game illustrated that even with the optimal situations with good enough talent, Rivera will find a way to lose games.  We've seen him mismanage games time and time again, but often it was one or two decisions that often were negated by someething else. But he outright completely lost this game.  And it wasnt one bad decision, it was like 5 of them.

Chasing points early, punting on 4th and 1 with waning momentum to an offense you havent been able to stop, as the guy overseeing defense you allow multiple times to get your LB caught in man coverage with #1 caliber WRs, continuing to blow timeouts on dead balls...  he is just fuging horrible.  Going back to his first or second year here where he called a timeout to allow the Saints to kick a FG before halftime, he has just done poo i have never seen before in 33 years of life on this earth.  I gave him a pass despite his horrible mismanagement of games due to personnel issues, but you couldve given him last years team and an entire all-pro lineuo, and he wouldve found a way to lose that game today.

So, yes, I'm 100% on board with this movement now.  He needs to be fired immediately.  And if Gettleman doesnt get Cam some fuging protection this offseason, his ass needs to be canned too if he doesnt get it already for this atrocity of a season.

It is WAY past time to put the Ron Rivera Era to bed.

Rivera and his precious Book have cost us more games than I want to remember.

All that will be accomplished by keeping him is more of what we are seeing this year.  Because, unlike last year, this year is the Rivera norm.

"Riverboat" my pasty white ass.

Pussy-ass Rivera is the more accurate description.

He won't get fired. We have a mediocre owner who is totally fine with a mediocre GM who is a-ok with a mediocre head coach who is content with mediocre assistants. This is okay and probably just seen as a slump to them. We are wasting talent in Cam and Greg and Luke. TD will retire with a bunch of conference champ rings.
