for my college people who's the best wr that will be available in the draft ?

but i agree with another poster has stated, gotta see how free agency goes first. I just hope our we draft someone who's going to get significant playing time and not ride the pine, you know someone who actually helps the team

Mike Williams luv me some Mike Williams...

I wouldn't pull the trigger on a RB before the third round, maybe fourth. Fournette is basically Stewart with the same injury issues and Freeman is a bit overrated

I've been liking D'Onta Foreman this year.

Lol..

laugh all you want... Cook is just a little bit taller and a little bit stronger, but he basically dances until he has a hole to run through.

Watch all his tape. 90% of his successful runs are the result of massive holes opened up by FSU's line, and he isn't impressive upon contact or open field. He runs high and stiff.

He's a second rounder at best, although some team will probably take him too early. A top 15 pick is WAY TOO fuging EARLY.

The second best RB in this draft is Royce Freeman, IF he can return to form and get back from injuries that bugged him this year.

Fournette - AP

Freeman - this year's Elliot, with the potential to be better in the NFL than Elliot has been his rookie season.

Those are the only two RBs worth a top 15 pick, and I am currently hoping we get one of them.

I think a WR like Dede Westbrook (Okla), WR Artavis Scott (Clemson), Stacey Coley (Miami), WR Zay Jones, or either one of the LSU receivers Dupre or Duval would be great value in the 3rd-5th rounds.

Scott would be a great slot guy.  No doubt.

but I think Carolina needs someone we can put on the outside

If you ant an outside guy, look for Isiah Ford 6'2 from VT, Malachi Dupre 6'2 LSU, Duval LSU 6'3 , Courtland Sutton 6'3 SMU, Corey Davis 6'3, Ricky Seals-Jones 6'5.

I personally think we need to be thinking slot this year in the draft. KB and Funch holddown the outside well we need a slot guy to stretch the field like Ginn, but younger.  Im thinking Stacy Coley, Artavis Scott, and my personal favorite John Ross from Washington.

KB and Funchess neither pose an over the top threat.  Allows defenses to narrow in their coverage.

If you find a legit vertical threat that can play on the outside....he could always move into the slot on designed plays.  That is what they are doing with almost all elite WRs now.

but I am down for improving the WR spot in general.  So I got no issue w/ a getting a slot guy like Scott mid draft.

I would compare Ross to Odell or Antonio Brown and Williams to Julio or Dez.

Agreed.  Mike Williams will be a top 15 pick IMO.  I don't think we take a WR in the first 2 rounds, but getting someone like John Ross in the 3rd would be a great addition.

If Fournette could have the impact that Elliot had this year I would like him.

Fournette is a better prospect from the limited amount of stuff I've read (that's no shot to Elliot either- Fournette just might be that good)

The difference: we don't have Dallas' O-line

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
