Was Ron really that wrong for sitting Cam one play?

If that pass had been a short completion (like it should have been if Tolbert could catch) no one would be talking about this. That play could have had the same result no matter who was at QB.

I really don't feel Ron was out of line for sitting Cam for one play. If you violate rules, no matter how big or small, you should be punished. My high-school coach did very similar things when we weren't dressed in a suit/tie on game day. Football is a game of discipline and this is really nothing to be upset about. 

If you want to be upset with Ron, choose a new subject matter

Without knowing all the details and looking how the team responded, punishing someone for a an opening series is just down right weird, regardless of a dress violation.

This is true, but to play Devil's advocate Cam could have been warned not to do it anymore and that there would be consequences.

No matter how you look at it, it was a overreaction. You sit players for missing practice not because they didn't have a tie. That's just crazy.

It would be have been as big of a deal but still would bring up speculation to him having control of the locker room which imo he hasn't in quite a while

My badly formed opinion: It seems there's a weird split with the team: Coaches - Cam - The Players.

I'm still calling Bullsh*t because if that was the case then you do it when it happens the first time if you say this is a team rule..

Cam has done this multiple times..you choose a Sunday night national televised game against one of our rivals..
