PFF: Bradberry is better than Norman

This is why PFF is a fraud. Bradberry's been great and I'm glad we have him but trying to say he's better than Norman or even close to him is ridiculous.  If Norman were in Bradberry's place he'd be doing better.  Does seeing Bradberry do we'll make losing Josh hurt less?  Sure.  But as the other poster said, we could have both and have a very good pair of CBs instead of one and a bunch of weak links.

People hate PFF till it helps their views lol.

Honestly Norman was the perfect fit, for this system.  It's like NE's system with QBs.   Most QBs can be successful, but Brady fits it perfectly and is elite under it.  That's how Norman was here.  It was a mix of skill and system and we let him go.

I don't look at stats and PFF, but just eye test both Bradberry and Worley have been playing pretty damn well the last couple games. Did well against Oakland red hot offense. Pretty much shut Amari Cooper out and if not for AJ Klein, Crabtree wouldn't have made much impact in that game.

Worley is a pretty good tackler. Bradberry tends to get caught up by blockers easily. He just need to get in the gym this offseason and get bigger. Both guys probably will not be superstar corners, but pretty good solid ones.

I do want another legitimate corner in the draft (1st round) or a Gillmore, Trumaine J, or Robert Alford to go along with these two. However, if we can get a solid safety like Eric Berry in the backfield it would help these two young men next season.

And Bradberry will be better. Norman is now getting roasted in Washington. So much for that elite skill. If you're gonna be paid like the best corner in the NFL then you better shutdown your receiver and follow him to the other side.

The reason why Bradberry will be better is simple: IQ, discipline and selflessness.

Last week rankings for the league had Norman at #10.   Not the best, but not getting roasted.

Ah yes PFF the holy grail, the be all and end all.

This is why you can't trust this website. Go watch any games and see how offensive coordinator scheme are avoiding Norman.

one of the highest rated defenders called out PFF the other day.  Said there is no way they could grade tons of plays they do.  Which is true.  It is easy when guys are in clear one on one.  But on lot of plays all it does is take one blown assignment and it confuses what everyone else was suppose to do

Norman is a higher risk/reward player based on his playing style, at this stage of his career Bradberry isn't getting pics but he also isn't giving up big plays.

Rookie Bradberry is a million times better than rookie Norman, I think we've got a really solid corner on our hands.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
