too bad these posters like tarhole don't prefer to see it through because it almost never works out in their favor. they'll leave it at "pats sign floyd"

btw guys brandon lafell does not play for new england anymore either

Uh okay.  At least they take a chance on the guy.

...ur either committed to winning or ur not...

evidence is that Mr Floyd has a alcohol abuse issue. to the point that it got him kicked off the team. if the patriots want to try and reform a player with an addiction issue be my guest. I really dont care that didnt get a chance to sign him.

Yes you heard that right, we never had a chance to sign Floyd. Patriots Picked him up off the Wavier Wire which is based on last years results. so we pick second to last on waivers.

What? 30 teams passed on him. But for some strange reason. We are the only team that doesn't care about winning? C'mon man.

I guess Over Reaction Monday, is now on Thursday's.

29 teams passed on him, Panthers and Broncos didnt get a chance to pick him up off waviers.

2. the pats claimed him off waivers. that's not an ample window of time. if i'm correct in assuming our 5-8 record affords us a higher waiver pick than new england, it would cost us a lot more in the cap to bring him in off waivers than it would if say for example he made it to FA.

waiver wire is based on last years rankings, it doesnt chance actively through this season. we never got a chance at floyd. for the record Idont care that we didnt get him. just pointing out that a lot of people dont even know how the waiver wire works

if nothing else it demonstrates the lack of perception on this board's part. they thought then that belichick was going to turn mcclain into vince wilfork reincarnate

and lafell?

Wow really dude? You have zero perception yourself if you think T McClain was anything like Vince Wilfork coming out of college. That whole perception on belichick you guys have that he can mold anyone into anything is horse piss. What he does is gets the right guys for the job, his scheme. He eliminates guys as he see's fit, they don't play up to par they're gone. Here in Carolina we'll let a dog turd turn white.

So..... Belichick isn't the best personnel man... AND YET, the man has rings to prove that he is in fact good at Personnel. Some of you people really make me lol. I mean seriously? Isn't that what a head coach is all about? Determining the best personnel with what you're given.. All Kraft does is pay his players...  For those of you who think Micheal Floyd won't work out with one of the best QBs of all time LOL LMFAO!! you go from old man river, washed up Carson Palmer to Tom Brady... Also Floyd is already top receiver type talent out of the gate. Don't even give me the whole " What about Randy Moss" argument because Randy never fit into the option route based offense. Lafell not only didn't have the talent of a #1 but he failed in New England because he was a one hit wonder. His lack of hands really started showing up and guess what that means if you're a Pros pro quarterback? Someone like Brees, or Brady? You don't fugging throw to him because you can't trust him. Bottom fugging line, don't be THAT Panthers fan...

1. we already do this. why just this year we brought in brandon boykin, michael griffin, ras-i-dowling, and leonard johnson. we also did this with stephen hill a few years back. so i think it can be demonstrated that we already do this.

lol remember how mad sam mills fan got because we gave brandon boykin $30k to go away basically

and yeah, we do take chances on players like the ones you listed.  people just get buttblasted when they're eventually released/cut/waived/whatever because they're operating under the assumption that anything gettleman does is a mistake.
