Well it's not the playoffs yet. 15 n 1 becomes an afterthought if you don't win it all. No one cares. Honestly your argument is that of a 5 year old. Give credit where it's due instead of being a bitch

That's why the Falcons haven't been a thought for years. Like when was the last time you guys even won a playoff game?  And sadly you guys had better teams back then. You want credit wait till your joke of a team actually does something besides being avg to terrible every year.

I joined during SC's heyday then stuck around -- this place is a riot even though that forum is now dead. Mods let a lot more stuff fly than on the Falcons' boards (and 100x more than 'Saints Report') and there's a great subculture. Lots of inside jokes, controversial posters, beef between users, etc.

I also have a lot of family in NC and keep tabs on the Panthers as a result, even though I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm 'Falcons first, Panthers second.'

Me neither. I cheered for them during their 04 run but I really started to dislike them alot around 07 or so. Which was after I had this account lol.

Recently saw a segment of ESPN First Take while trying to switch channels and noticed that Molly was asking the crew about who was better long-term: Cam Newton or Matt Ryan?

Obviously, I sat there expecting them to fall on their knees for Matt Ryan, but their answers surprised me.

Stephen A. Smith replied yes, due to Cam's athleticism and body, and Max Kellerman cited how big Cam is, how he impacts the game, and how he's had more playoff wins/superbowl appearances than Matt Ryan.

Fair statements. What do you guys think?

As of right now, Cam > Ryan. Long term, Ryan's career could be more successful and longer than Cam's. Ryan got a young D on the rise, a solid run game, an underrated OL and a solid cast of WRs.

CAR need to upgrade the offense.

Panthers got a young D as well, young offense, and if they hit on a decent RB in this draft they'd be dangerous.

Car could use a possession receiver and that's about it; maybe a LT as well if Oher is done.

I'm hoping KB becomes CAR's Julio. Get a big RB late in the draft. I think Funchess could be the possession WR. I'm hoping Ryan Kalil could get his bro to come to CAR.

Could you imagine Cam with a Weapon like Julio Jones....I mean lol come on now....give him Shanahan too for that matter I'm sure he could adjust his WCO for a guy like Cam....but still....Olsen + Jones poo....

I had Kelvin Benjamin in fantasy 2 years ago balling out of control in his rookie season. Then Newton came back healthy and ruined his fantasy stats. Playing with Cam is a death sentence for a Wr's career cuz this first read is always a tight end.

You realize that Cam only missed two games that year, right?

Most of his points came from garbage points that year. Funny you say WRs die, when one (Ginn) has Ahmad his best years by far with cam. Smith had 1000 yard seasons with him as well. Certainly not a death sentence. My goodness you are acting like he is ryan Fitzpatrick. Get the blind hate out of here.

I remember when I pretty much started whatever defense went against Atlanta

Matt Ryan was sure to give them points with his picks

Steve Smith played better in Baltimore once he left the wr grave yard. Ted Ginn has been ok, never broke 1k yards. My point is ever since that season KB has regressed. CAM is overrated as a passer.
