Dalvin Cook or Jamal Adams in the 1st?

Seems like the two best options that will be available when we pick. At present not sure who I want more. Usually against taking RBs in the 1st but Cook has an enticing combination of size and speed. Then again, appears the draft is deep with RBs and could probably pick up a nice one in the 2nd.

DALVIN. I think he will ball out at the Combine and you'll see Fornette fall off. Dalvin is still better. He fits our philosophy well. However, he got in some trouble his Freshman year which may push him away from us. But he's the next Marshawn Lynch. Plus Benjamin is here, so that could be a good sign.

Every time I see someone talk about drafting a running back I literally shake my fuging head. Complete waste of a pick when you have an o line currently struggling to run block. CAP is a lot better than he gets credit for and Stewart shouldn't be going anywhere yet. Waste of a damn pick

Good lord you are clueless aren't you?

You're Dalvin Cook, aren't you?

FSU has a beast line and Cook has open field speed.

He isn't a punisher, a finisher, nor does he have good vision.

Some team will take him way too early, and 5 years later you'll forget about him.

I really wouldn't mind Cooks at all but right now I think Safety is a bigger need. Jamal Adams will fit what the Panthers will want do on defense now and the future. You need a premier Safety in this league look at Giants with Landon Collins who leads the league with picks. I really thought Collins be the pick here instead of Shaq Thompson but I love Shaq. You can also look at Chiefs with Eric Berry, Seahawks with Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor, and look at Vikings with Harrison Smith who Jamal Adams reminds me of. Some analysts says he can be a big time playmaker like Tyrann Mathieu.

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
