And had he made the FGs you would have been pissed he cost the team a higher draft pick.

If we had a GM who was good at drafting, yes I would've been upset at losing a higher pick

But since we don't have that, no

At least when you get closer to the top of the draft you are more likely to get somebody who makes an impact.

I can actually count 5 games this year directly related to kicking that we lost.

1. Denver
2. First Tampa game, Gano missed a chippy 38 yarder before half
3. Raiders: Blocked XP, maybe not his fault but still
4. Second Tampa game
5. Kansas City: Its on the coaches, but if we play for a FG when we are up 17-3 we never lose that one

Yeah we need a kicker with accuracy. Kicking it far left/right without it being anywhere close to threw the field post pisses me off.

Time to bring in legit competition for Gano. He has shown that he does not come through in key situations. He has missed field goals that could have been the difference or won the game (i.e. Denver).
