His words are reflective of his attitude this entire season since getting his head beat in against Denver and nearly getting his knee blown out against Arizona. He mentally checked out a long time ago and his play on the field showed it.

It's kinda hard to care anyway when you know the league is after you and won't protect you.

Guy is mentally and physically beat up ..realizing how much he is disliked in the league..he loves football but the kind he experience this yr...needs a break to mentally and physically be restored. He is got to adjust what he thought was fun is not it is seriously becoming a dangerous sport in his mind without any protections. At least for him.

Cam seems like the type of player that would retire when the game no longer becomes fun. He thrives off of energy. When the league is against you and your protection isn't up to par and you don't have enough weapons, that would suck the fun out of any QB. We need to give this guy protection and weapons soon or else I can see him leaving the game real early.

Not gonna argue that at all. He's not protected by the league the same way others are. With that said, hes got more growing to do as a pro. He really needs to figure out a way to combat adversity. I'm a huge believer that the team takes the identity of its qb. This year that identity was one of a concussed, lethargic and largely apathetic player.

I think this year may ultimately be better for him than we think. He's such a competitor that he is not going to want this season to be a defining moment of his legacy.  My bet is he busts his tail and comes back with a vengeance next year.

    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
    • I think a lot of us are feeling this way, enough is enough. There is absolutely no reason to subject the fans of your team to another full season of Bryce fuging Young. I already don't watch like I used to,I miss games and don't even care. Before I was always at the games or in my recliner when the game started now what's the point. Bryce won't have more than 50 yards passing by halftime anyway.   It's crazy how we watch these other teams dump a trash QB quickly yet here we are in year 3 still hoping he will get better, news flash,he won't. I'm not down for year 4,wake me up if we ever decide to replace the mistake.  fug it I can spend more time with my family or making money, fug Tepper.
