Went on the failcons board to see what the circlejerk's about, and lo and behold: they think they're competent enough to get in the championship.

I don't even think we made these type of threads, but Failcon fans think they're historic. You'd think they're about to leave a legacy at this rate.

Let's see what kind of magic Matty Meltdown shows this Sunday.

Just remember. 1-4 in the playoffs. 2 less wins and 1 less Superbowl appearance than Cam in the playoffs over a total of 5 games.

Calling it. They're eating their crow this weekend, and there's no way we're gonna be the only nfc south team without a superbowl appearance.

Oh but we have appearances, two of them to be exact, that is not our problem. Winning it is our problem. Hopefully, Atlanta loses because that would leave us the only team without a Super Bowl win in the division.

Offensively they are damn good.

Defensively... This is the same team that lost to the Chargers at home. The same Chargers team that surrendered a victory to the at the time historically winless Cleveland Browns.

If the Falcons aren't careful, the Seahawks will flat out take their lunch money, and another run at the Super Bowl.

    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
    • Because playoff hockey and regular season hockey aren’t the same thing.  It’s a combination of the game intensity being dialed up with loose officiating.
