Watching Atlanta's offense, it becomes clear....

He would certainly help two positions drastically.

SS- obvious

FS- would allow Coleman to move back to a free roaming safety in the back.

It will be interesting to see how Wilks uses our safeties next year. McDermott used a lot of mixed coverages this year- but that could have been to cover for Tre's weakness.

Jamal Adams is the pick if he is there. No other player would come close to immediately closing the gap with the Falcons. A fast run stuffing safety against those Swiss army knife backs would be ideal.

Yes?

Also watching Atlanta's offense makes it even more crystal clear that the Panthers have a low-functioning retard on staff as Offensive Coordinator.

Nope

The DB transition from college to pros is extremely difficult, he most likely won't make much of a difference his first season. Much rather bring in a veteran safety

To beat the Falcons who have to score 30. Which means offense

Bradberry says hello.

Rather than have to score 30 to beat them, what if our defense can hold them to 21, and keep Ryan in long down and distance?

I agree.  The problem with picking a RB is that they are a dime in a dozen.  Their play is mostly dictated based on their o-line.  I'd be happy with Forman or one of the other good guys in the later rounds.  Now, I wouldn't mind going receiver either, but only if we've decided that our guys are not good enough and the guy we pick is special.

Bradberry is anomaly. and he even struggled.

Do do you see there third down offense? Even in long distance. Look at all the games we have beat the Falcons we have scored over 30 points.

    • It's definitely a historical issue at QB but to be perfectly blunt, we also don't do a good job of really developing almost any position if you look at the last decade or so. I tend to be on the side of that being far less a development issue than an evaluation deficiency.  I think we are in the situation at QB2/3 recently due to the overall roster being absolutely abhorrent and the QB classes being quite thin. It is harder to justify another Matt Corral(or several) when you can potentially get a real two deep contributor at other positions.  But, it was a lot of hard work to get to the point where are roster is so incredibly bad that luxury picks literally are not in our vocabulary.  This is the reaping what you sow portion of our history.
    • That is what I meant about our front office. They are like someone filling out a March Madness bracket based on preference of uniform colors and mascots. There's no rhyme of reason to some of these fugg'n mind numbing decisions they make.  They go all in on these flimsy-@ss prospects and are gun shy when it comes to more solid prospects.  It's literally maddening and the reason I stopped being so emotionally involved in this team. Heck the only reason I'm active on the board today is one, it's my day off and two, it's cut down time.
