The patriots having the number 1 defense is misleading due to the QBs they have faced this season. They are very well coached but not very talented.

If they don't choke Atlanta could expose them and drop 40.

Completly wrong but do facts matter.

That number 1 defense choked out a prime steelers offense

Have you seen Big Ben play lately? He's been horrible.

The steelers offense is inconsistent, the Falcons has been historically great this year.

The Falcons defense just held the hottest offense in the NFL to 21 points

Are you serious?

Green Bay, hottest offense in NFL?

LOL

Rodgers is making it happen because he has no other option. They have pretty much zero running game, and are having to use a gimmick hybrid player to have success in the run. Their best WRs are hurt. Their defense is pretty terrible, especially against the pass.

The Falcons offense is exceptionally good. Their defense is well coached and passable.

That said, I expect Belichick to outcoach the hell out of the Falcons, like he usually does to everyone. Matt Ryan will crumble, and Julio can only bail you out so much.

Pats should and probably will win pretty easily.

You do know the packers the last 6 games have averaged around 35 ppg? They were the hottest offense and theirs no debate

All I know if the Falcons play the SB like they have been playing all season they will win this game going away.

I know that, but it has been ugly and guys have gone down with injury in that span. It has mostly been Aaron Rodgers doing his thing.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
