Not surprised there are a bunch of new names in this thread that weren't here after the UNC win last week.

GG Dukies. Hell of a second half you guys played. That was a terribly officiated game both ways. This rivalry deserves better refs. I mean, how many times did we hear Bilas say "that's a terrible call"?

Roy outsmarted himself sitting Berry to the 4 min mark. Should have brought him in at 8. The momentum was too far gone at 4mins.

Even when i coached hoops i know to bring a guy in foul trouble early once time is in single digits.

Yeah I said the same thing. That and of course him not calling a TO when Duke was smothering them. I'm a Roy fan but these things are so frustrating. I can't seem to remember when his no TO philosophy has worked - but I can easily name many games where it hasn't.

Why did he sit Meeks so long?

Britt is a pitiful defender, that is where we missed berry so much

No idea. Why did they stop working from the inside out? They were in total control until Berry went out and they started forcing outside shots. Not to mention their D turned into Swiss cheese.

Plenty of mistakes by the Heels but credit to Duke, they wanted it more.

    • OK, we are letting our top RB go.  We have Chuba, Etienne, and Brooks.  Imagine a player who could LEGITIMATELY play the slot and back up at RB?  I am sure he'd be a special team player as well.  I noticed him at the combine, and thought, "Here is a late rounder who could stand out as a slot and provide depth at RB. Without further ado....(I know one Huddler who might be able to tell us more about this guy): Navy running back/wide receiver Eli Heidenreich headlined the 2026 NFL Combine for the Midshipmen, running an official 4.44-second 40-yard dash and recording 16 reps on the bench press. Recognized as a versatile, "Swiss army knife" offensive weapon, Heidenreich solidified his draft stock as a potential day three target.    Eli Heidenreich (RB/WR - Navy) 2026 Combine Performance: 6'0" 200 lbs.   40-Yard Dash: 4.44 seconds. 10-Yard Split: 1.55 seconds. Vertical Jump: 35.5 inches. Broad Jump: 10' 0". Bench Press: 16 Reps. Highlights: Showcased as a premier receiving threat from the backfield, having left Navy as the program's all-time leader in receiving yards (1,994). High character.  Smart.  Maybe, just maybe....
    • These refs are horrible.  They definitely got money on this game lol.
    • I don’t think the concept is bad thinking. That money this year is a ball buster, for getting nothing out of it.    gives him a little future location security and maybe hope that if he can get back we’ll pay him, with a renegotiation. Could give us some relief this year. That is kind of creative.
