He'd be a useful player in a rotation for the right price. Wouldn't rule out us looking at him unless we re-sign both Mario and CJ, which is possible and probably likely. Without those two signed, Ealy and Delaire are our starting DEs... Definitely going to look to bring back those two, possibly Peppers, draft pick, etc.

He would be more of a 3 tech in our system.

He's too small for 4-3 DT and too big for 4-3 DE. He's strictly a 3-4 DE and wouldn't make sense for the Panthers

If he's been playing in a 3-4, then 22 sacks over six years isn't horrible.

He's been a 3-4 DE so far. Dunno if he could play 3tech, but I'd guess so. 3.5 sacks a year as a 3-4 DE ain't bad. Watt is an anomaly, those guys don't often get sacks.
