Talking myself into this one. Low risk, mild reward signing. Will take on the Cotchery role, and even after the injury, more productive than Cotch (outside of the 10 TD outlier his last PIT year). 

And if nothing else, he's a name. Not saying that carries any weight with his play, but it may with KB and Funch, who grew up watching Cruz when he was good and doing the salsa all over the place. Maybe he'll be able to get in their heads and help them grow. At best, he's a 4th/5th WR and vet presence for the group. At worst, he gets cut. 

KB, Funch, Ginn, Cruz, Byrd, Draft Pick (hopefully), Bersin, Philly fighting it out for spots is at least some improvement and could be a fun camp competition.
