Friendly Reminder: NFL Free Agency Doesn't Begin Until Thurs 4:00 ET - Players Can't Sign Until Then

Yeah, we already knew that, and it still doesn't change the fact that deals are getting done. I've never seen someone do a Carlos Boozer in the NFL. If it's reported by a credible source, then all that's left are the technicalities.

So, no, this thread isn't really a pacifier. People on opposite ends up the spectrum just need to face reality. It is what it is. All is not lost, except the players who have deals in principle.

Yes deals are being made. Meanwhile Dave Gettleman is eating steak, and lobster at one of Jerry Richardsons vacation homes in the mountains of North Carolina. When asked about the draft and free agency he said "listen I'm not going to discuss contracts. But I will tell you guys this, Mr. Richardson's vacation home is absolutely magnificent. In my opinion it's much more massive than the Biltmore estate."

Mr Richardson is with his lover boy Bersin. Gman is at a pig pen looking for hog mollies.

Wait so did he say that to Richardson

Funny how these threads pop up about "just wait free agency hasn't started yet" the tampering period has and teams have been actively pursuing free agents and though the deal hasn't been signed they are getting them done and prepared. Wake the fug up. I bet 90% of these "signing" alerts will happen because teams are being active.  All you hear about us is "interest"

When Free Agency starts in 6 hours and 5 minutes you'll see how wrong you are. NFL Players pull Deandre Jordan level pull-outs all the time.

    • Got to give some credit to the coaching staff on these. You can grab top talents but without good coaching, they just fizzle out. We've seen that a lot around here.
    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
