Could Cleveland trade be an option?

It would take this years first, next years first, both our seconds this year, and prob a third next year. Hellll no. Myles Garret might be the best DE prospect of the last 10 years, but I'd rather have 3-5 starters with those picks than Garret.

I find it amusing that people are acting like that would be giving up too much, Cleveland would hang up if that is all you offered. You'd have to throw in more than that to jump from 8 to 1.

Now if Cleveland did offer us Garret for just 8 and our 2 seconds you take it and don't look back. Garrett has that much potential.

Thats ridiculous. In this class the differnece from 1 to 8 is incredibly minimal. Really the top 10 maybe even more are on the same level talent wise. Which is why we would be completely stupid to offer that. No NFL GM would

I actually could see us trading with Cleveland number 8 and number 12 and them giving us a third or even a late second rounder for compensation.

Here's why: Garrett, Adams, Thomas, Fournette, Howard, Allen, and Hooker could all be off the board at 8...not likely but it's possible. Cleveland has a wealth of picks and could move up to take their top QB prospect at that point.

Why not move down 4 slots and take a second tier guy at that point?

Moving up to 12  or 33 is possible despite what biased huddlers say.

Panthers are going to target RB/ TE combo

Fournette / OJ Howard

OJ Howard / McCaffrey

Fournette / McCaffrey

Fournette / Leggett

I think the best option for the Panthers is to trade down with the browns for their R1P12 and R2P1 . And then use our three 2nd rounders to trade back into the mid or late first. In that senario I could see something like Ross at 12 and McCaffrey or Howard at 20 something.

Well anyway I'd love it if they drafted two offense players in the 1st . Just very different from what they usually do by drafting defense most early round picks besides Kelvin and Funchess and help balance the talent level of our team a bit. Cam's entering his prime years as a QB you can't just have Kelvin as the only real attempt at help given to Cam from a young draft talent perspective.
